P-Brane: The Green Man
is a speculative fiction story being produced
by
Quietus Films
using non-traditional illustrative techniques.
The character images in P-Brane are derived from photographs
using graphics software, such as Photoshop. Page layout
creatively combines illustration with photographic effects.
The approach of using photographs of
live subjects as the basis for
illustrations is not unique, and is used by well-known
illustrators such as Alex Ross
and
P. Craig Russell.
Graviton
Publishing was started in 2005. We believe the
graphic novel is the most creative and unconstrained form of storytelling
and that
the graphic techniques used in film making can be successfully
brought to the graphic novel. Questions or comments?
